nOps, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of an AI platform for businesses to manage and optimize their cloud usage, spending, and commitments on Amazon Web Services, raised $30m in Series A funding.
The round, which brought total funding raised to date to $40.5m, was led by Headlight Partners.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the development of its platform, further expand integrations with AWS products and open-source technologies like Karpenter, and improve the overall platform experience.
Led by JT Giri, CEO, nOps provides an AWS cloud optimization platform that allocates and manages cloud usage and commitments to give teams automated FinOps solutions to create an effortless experience to optimize cloud resources. It also provisions all compute automatically so user get the best pricing available without sacrificing any reliability.
Over the past 18 months, the company has grown its customer base and announced multiple new platform enhancements and features. In June, they launched updates to nOps Essentials, the premier suite of automation tools for reducing cloud waste. Shortly after, nOps announced Business Contexts+, providing visibility into AWS costs from the largest resources all the way down to container costs, as well as container rightsizing recommendations with Compute Copilot.
