myco, a Dubai, UAE-based provider of a Web3 streaming platform, raised $10M in Series A funding.
Backers included Daman Investments, Aptos Labs, B Digital, Mocha Ventures, Art3 Foundation, Ghaf Capital Partners, Mix Media Network, Factor6 Capital Partners, and Enjinstarter, along with angel investors. 88 investors also participated in the round through Republic.com.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.
Founded by Mr. Umair Masoom, myco is a content streaming app integrating AVOD & SVOD capabilities within a decentralized environment. The web3 streaming platform features a diverse vertically integrated content slate ranging from live sports, films, documentaries to influencer & UGC Content and 1 million+ videos on platform. The system has over 13 million registered users and 3 million+ monthly active users from over 190 countries.
It is available on Web, Apple Store, Google Playstore and Huawei App Gallery, has delivered over 1 billion impressions in the past 12 months, and has advertising partnerships with 100+ brands alongside content partnerships with 50+ global content channels.
