Pieces, a Cincinnati, OH-based developer productivity tech startup, raised $13.5m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Drive Capital with participation from Cincinnatiās Cintrifuse Capital, Miami Universityās RedHawk Ventures and local high-net-worth investors.Ā
The company intends to use the funds to roll out the next phases of its product.
Co-founded by Tsavo Knott, and Mack Myers in 2021, Pieces provides a product that allows developers to save and store code, links, text, images and more, copying and pasting. The startup is now introducingĀ Live Context in Pieces Copilot+, a feature that provides real-time, on-device contextual assistance for developers. The company aims to boost daily active users from 18,000 to 100,000-150,000 by the end of 2024, with a current 90-day retention rate of over 65%.
Pieces has approx. 20 full-time employees and other remote collaborators.
