Brightwave Raises $6M in Seed Funding

Brightwave, a NYC- and Boulder, CO-based AI-powered research assistant that generates financial analysis on any subject, raised $6M in Seed funding.

The round was led by Decibel Partners, with participation from Point72 Ventures, Moonfire Ventures, and angel investors including executives from OpenAI, Databricks, Uber, and LinkedIn.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.

Co-founded by Mike Conover and Brandon Kotara, Brightwave offers an AI research assistant service that generates a financial analysis on any subject. Its purpose-built AI systems synthesize insights across an expansive universe of content, enabling financial professionals to accelerate research workflows, improve investment theses, and step into every interaction prepared to lead with a sophisticated view.

Commenting on the news, Mike Conniver said: “Artificial intelligence is a force multiplier for financial professionals, and Brightwave is explicitly designed to act as a partner in thought.
