Kalogon Raises $1.2M in Funding


Kalogon, a Melbourne, FL-based company which specializes in smart seating solutions, raised $1.2M in funding.

Backers included Sawmill Angels, M7, SeedFundersOrlando, and AARP.

The company intends to use the funds to bolster R&D and go-to-market initiatives.

Led by CEO and Founder Tim Balz, Kalogon specializes in smart seating, offering patent-pending solutions for medical, aviation and automotive customers. Its core technology integrates custom molding, dynamic motion and ambient sensing to provide personalized, healthy seating.

Kalogon’s products are medically validated to improve blood flow, with customers reporting increased comfort and less fatigue.
