GFAL, a Barcelona, Spain-based Web3 video games startup, raised $3.2M in Seed funding.
The round was led by Supercell Ltd and Mitch Lasky, with participation from Heinrich Zetlmayer, Bonduc Bioscience SL, BCNBCNLVC, and David Fernandez, Bonsai Partners, Nekko Consulting and Inveready, among others.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its core team and accelerate its production plans.
Led by CEO Manel Sort, GFAL is a video game development and publishing startup leveraging technology – from AI to Web3 – to create games designed to enable players to have fun via immersive gameplay. The company’s plans for 2024 will build on the soft launch for mobile of its game Elemental Raiders, which took place in March 2023.
