roclub Raises €4.0M in Seed Funding

roclub, a Berlin, Germany-based company which specializes in teleoperations for the global healthcare landscape, raised €4M in Seed funding.

The round was led by Speedinvest and FJ Labs alongside Better Ventures and strategic angels.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its operations from DACH to the rest of Europe and the US, further develop its remote healthcare service marketplace, and grow its international team.

Founded in 2022 by Dr. Matthias Issing and André Glardon, roclub provides a teleoperation platform that makes it possible to access and operate medical devices from anywhere in the world. For now, the solution enables remote connectivity for MRI/CT scanners allowing for multiple use cases as remote scanning, remote support or remote education. Over the last few months, it has enabled the use of connected scanners such as MRIs and CTs across its platform for both university as well as small to mid-size hospitals and outpatient centers in the DACH region.

The company currently employs 20 people.
