TurbineOne Raises $15M in Series-A Funding Round

TurbineOne

TurbineOne, a San Francisco, CA-based company which specializes in government Machine Learning (ML), raised $15M in Series A funding.

The round was led by Bessemer Venture Partners with participation from previous investors The General Partnership, XYZ Ventures and Pallas Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its business reach across national security markets.

Led by CEO Ian Kalin, and Dan Portillo, TurbineOne is a frontline perception company that delivers national security and intelligence solutions through its no-code, no-cloud software platform. Its Frontline Perception System (FPS) offers data insights by automating threat recognition and cueing alerts for decision-makers using ML. The software refines raw data feeds through software that warfighters can operate themselves, including in battlefield conditions where connectivity, bandwidth, and access to the cloud is hazardous and limited.

TurbineOne designs its software to work with a wide range of other systems such as those from large defense contractors and ML-focused developers. Additionally, it is data-agnostic, processing and integrating data from every human-understandable source, making it highly adaptable and efficient in all operating environments.

The solution is deployed globally with every military branch and U.S. Special Operations.
