Maybell Quantum Raises $25M in Series A Funding

Maybell Quantum, a Denver, CO-based quantum infrastructure company, raised $25M in Series A funding.

The round was led by an affiliate of Cerberus Capital Management, L.P., with participation from Lavrock Ventures, Caruso Ventures, Mark IV Capital, Decisive Point, In-Q-Tel, and Olive Capital. In connection with the investment, Chris Darby, Global Head of Venture Investments at Cerberus, will join the Maybell Board of Directors.

The company intends to use the funds to scale manufacturing and open a new production facility in 2024.

Led by CEO Corban Tillemann-Dick, Maybell Quantum is a quantum infrastructure company whose mission is to deliver tools to solve quantum challenges, offering solutions that are more accessible, reliable, and performant. Their cryogenic platforms – the Fridge and the Big Fridge – offer premier reliability and usability for researchers and entrepreneurs. In 2023, Maybell launched MayQ Labs, expert-managed quantum research spaces in Denver and Copenhagen offering tools to entrepreneurs in an effort to accelerate progress in quantum innovation.
