Joyride, a Toronto, Canada-based provider of a shared mobility platform, $5.2M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Yamaha Motors.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its offerings to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and to advance its proprietary technology, which supports shared mobility fleets in midsize and enterprise markets.
Led by CEO and President Mike Chrzanowski, Joyride provides a platform that simplifies fleet management and IoT connectivity for businesses through a suite of solutions that includes a branded user application, backend management tracking software and automated operational tools.
A mobility software leader since 2014, the company powers connected electric vehicle deployments in more than 250 global markets–from e-scooters and e-bikes to minicars and golf cars.
