Lonestar Data Closes $825K in Pre-Series A Funding

Lonestar Data, a St. Petersburg, FL-based technology company advancing lunar data storage and disaster recovery services, raised $825K in Pre-Series A funding.

The backers were not disclosed.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.

Led by CEO Chris Stott, Lonestar Data provides secure immutable storage and edge processing services to customers from the Moon, the world’s ultimate offsite backup location.

The company, headquartered in St Petersburg’s Maritime and Defense Technology Hub in Florida, had already raised $5.225m in Seed funding.
