Summus, a New York-based virtual health company, raised $19.5M in funding.

The backers were not disclosed.

The company, which has now raised $70m so far, intends to use the funds to further scale growth for the organization, including meeting demand for its innovative solution to support primary care physicians in a peer-to-peer environment, and enhance condition-specific, personalized journeys for patients to access the best care with the most trusted physicians.

It delivers clinical guidance, advocacy and navigation.
