Caravelo, a Barcelona, Spain-based travel-tech company, raised €3.5M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Samaipata with participation from Adara Ventures and other existing investors.
The company intends to use the funds to continue the expansion of the team and the development of its platform.
Founded in 2015 by Iñaki Uriz and José Luis Vilar, Caravelo is a travel-tech company that provides subscription solutions to the travel industry and creates and manages flight subscription programs to help clients increase revenue and market share while also improving crisis resilience, reducing the impact of seasonality and creating a customer experience. The SaaS company has been providing flight subscriptions solutions and know-how to airlines since 2015.
Caravelo has worked with more than 20 airlines, including Volaris, Alaska Airlines and Wizz Air.
