Jericho Security Raises $3M in Pre-Seed Funding

Jericho Security, a New York-based cybersecurity startup, raised $3m in Pre-Seed funding.

The round was led by Jasper Lau’s Era, with participation from Lux Capital, FoundersXFund, MetaLabs, Alcove, Textbook, Alumni Venture Group, Thorntree, Daniel Liem, Henry Elkus and Contrary. 

Founded in 2023 by veteran AI technologist and former Agolo CEO Sage Wohns, FiscalNote Co-Founder and CEO Tim Hwang, and cybersecurity expert and PKC Security Founding Partner Dan Chyan, Jericho Security helps enterprises to defend against social engineering phishing attacks by leveraging artificial intelligence to create sophisticated simulations and educational content for employees. It uses advanced language processing, custom privately-hosted language models, and brokered data to train employees using realistic personalized simulations of threats from malicious actors. Personalized to individual users, Jericho provides organizations with team-wide metrics and individualized feedback.

The company is currently working with design partners across finance, healthcare, and government sectors.
