DataGalaxy, a Lyon, France-based provider of collaborative data governance solutions, raised $10m in seed funding.
The round was led by AV8 Ventures with participation from Orange Ventures, as well as existing backers NewFund and Evolem.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its operations in the US, enrich its suite of data products, and accelerate its growth plans.
Led by Lazhar Sellami, co-founder and CEO, DataGalaxy provides modern data governance and data catalog solutions. With its collaborative features, the platform empowers all users in the company, beyond data teams, to adopt and leverage its capabilities. Over the years, the company has built a loyal customer base with more than 120 prominent brands like Dior, Swiss Life, Technip Energies, TotalEnergies, and Sephora.
