Cello Raises €3.1M in Seed Funding

Cello, a Munich, Germany-based provider of a SaaS referrals platform, raised €3.1m in seed funding.

The round was led by HV Capital with participation from angel operators such as Allison Pickens (dbt), Phillip Chambers (Workday), Julius Göllner (ARRtist), Patrick Andrae (HomeToGo), and more.

The company, which had raised a €2.3m pre-seed intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach.

Led by Stefan Bader, co-founder, and CEO, Cello provides a platform for user referrals that helps businesses leverage users to drive word-of-mouth growth at scale. The system allows any SaaS product to be shared and discovered in a few clicks.

Category leaders including Demodesk, Pliant, Sastrify, and Unlock use it, among others.
