Sustaincert, a Livange, Luxembourg-based climate impact verification company, raised $37M in Series B funding.
The round saw participation from Partech, Hartree Partners, Citizen Capital, Innovacom and Microsoft’s Climate Innovation Fund.
The company intends to use the funds to invest in the acceleration of the commercial, organizational and technology scale up to support the growth of its recently launched value chain decarbonization impact solution for Scope 3 emissions and the soon to be launched digital verification solution for carbon markets.
Led by CEO Marion Verles, since 2018, Sustaincert combines established independent climate expertise with digital verification solutions. It provides impact validation and verification services for carbon markets and value chains. SustainCERT is launching a software platform for digital verification and management of climate claims across carbon markets and value chains. The company is also the co-founder of the Value Change Initiative, a multi-stakeholder forum bringing together some of the world’s largest companies, leading civil society actors and internationally recognized frameworks to collectively focus on defining best practice for Scope 3 emission reductions at scale.
