Thena Raises $5M in Seed Funding

Thena, a New Delhi, India-based provider of a customer communications and intelligence platform, raised $5M in Seed funding.

The round, which brought the total amount to $7.2M, was led by Lightspeed and First Round Capital. 

The company intends to use the fund to double down on product innovation and company expansion.

Founded in April 2022 by Ankit Saxena (CEO), Govind Kavaturi, Mike Molinet, and Unmukt Raizad, Thena provides a product that enables Slack and other messaging platforms to be used at scale for B2B customer communications. Specifically, it helps customer-facing teams manage customers in tools like Slack via the software which is able to detect, track and measure customer requests. The solution, which also provides analytics and insights into how customers are engaging with a company, integrates with internal tools like Zendesk, HubSpot, and Salesforce.

Customers include Branch, Embrace, Mixpanel, WorkRamp, and Spotdraft.
