Reviewpad, a Porto, Portugal-based provider of an AI powered platform to streamline code reviews, raised €1M in pre-seed funding.
The round was led by Shilling VC with participation from angel investors Simon Brandhof and Freddy Mallet.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its team, invest in R&D, and integrate Reviewpad with platforms such as Gitlab, Linear, and Jira.
Co-founded by Adriano Martins and Marcelo Sousa, Reviewpad provides an AI-powered tool for developers, to ensure high-quality code, efficient collaboration, and pull request management. The platform combines static analysis with artificial intelligence, including ChatGPT integration, to automate the review process and reduce merge times.
