MediView XR, a Cleveland, OH-based clinical augmented reality med-tech company, raised $15M in strategic funding.
The round saw participation from Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, GE HealthCare, JobsOhio Capital Growth Fund, Inside View Investments, LLC, and KKVS Syndicate.
The company intends to use the funds to enable the scale up of its augmented reality surgical navigation, medical imaging and remote collaboration platform.
Led by Mina S. Fahim, President and CEO, MediView is a med-tech company working to advance human health through its digital augmented reality ecosystem. Its augmented reality visualization platform works to deliver 3D data to transform image-guided medical procedures with 3D X-ray vision visualization, remote collaboration, and evidence-based data insights. Currently, MediView is delivering these technologies through partnerships with organizations GE Healthcare and Microsoft.
