Certif-ID, a Cologne, Germany-based blockchain-based international technical recruitment platform, raised €1.6M in Seed funding.
The round was led by NRW-Bank with participation from angel investors Andreas Weinberger, Malte Pollmann, Jörg Will and Michael Bernhörster.
The company intends to use the funds to further develop the technology platform and expand into Asia.

Its portfolio of technologies and services digitizes credentials, builds auditable talent pipelines, automates skill recognition, and minimizes cross-border recruiting efforts. The company offers TalentSure, a platform that connects verified professionals with employers, streamlines recruiting and automates processes, and CredSure, a SaaS platform that supports companies in digitizing their certificates and opening a modern way of digital communication for graduates through badges.
The company’s TalentSure product line has more than 300,000 registered users from 32 countries and offers 16,000 job offers.
