Blocktorch Raises $4.2M in Seed Funding

Blocktorch, a Berlin, Germany-based observability platform for web3 engineers, raised $4.2m in Seed funding.

The round was led by Ideo CoLab Ventures with participation from Speedinvest, RockawayX, Alchemy Ventures, Remote First Ventures, Entrepreneur First, as well as Bryce Ferguson (Sequoia’s scout program), Charlie Songhurst, Max Stoeckl, Felix Wolf, Andreas Klinger, Simon Jones, and Henry Chen.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its development efforts to launch the official version 1 of the product.

Led by CEO Gery Pollak, Blocktorch is a web3 observability platform for engineers to query logs, traces, and metrics of all components of their decentralized application in one place, find relevant insights and take data driven decisions. Users can set metric and event based monitors on any data point across the full stack of a dApp and deliver the right alert to the right person at the right time.
