Vytelle, a Lenexa, KS-based precision livestock company, raised $20M in Series B funding.
The round was led by Forage Capital Partners with participation from new investor Mountain Group Partners, and current investors Grosvenor Food and Ag Tech, Open Prairie, Fulcrum Global Capital, Serra Ventures, and KC Rise.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its global operations.
Led by Kerryann Kocher, CEO, Vytelle is a precision livestock company enabling cattle producers to optimize their herds. Its integrated technology platform allows producers to sustainably deliver more protein with fewer inputs.
Vytelle’s integrated technology platform combines Vytelle ADVANCE, an in vitro fertilization (IVF) technology system, with Vytelle SENSE, an animal performance data capture system, and Vytelle INSIGHT, an artificial intelligence based genetic analytics engine.
