UniSieve Raises $5.5M in Seed Funding

UniSieve, a Zurich, Switzerland-based cleantech company, raised $5.5M in Seed funding.

Backers included the Amadeus APEX Technology Fund, Wingman Ventures, Ciech Ventures and Zürcher Kantonalbank.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.

Established in 2018 by university class fellows Samuel Hess and Elia Schneider, UniSieve provides molecular sieving membranes that enable size-based purification. The portfolio of membranes enabled by its platform technology addresses numerous applications. Currently, the company focuses on providing select separation solutions to customers in the chemical, energy and CO2 capture markets.
