Tradier Raises $24.6M in Series B Funding


Tradier, a Charlotte, NC-based retail brokerage firm serving active traders through API-powered platforms and partnerships, raised $24.6M in Series B funding.

The round was led by PEAK6 Strategic Capital, with participation from existing investors F-Prime Capital and KF Business Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to grow trade volumes, new product launches and expand operations.

Led by Dan Raju, Tradier is a cloud-based financial services provider and brokerage API company that offers a platform to serve platform providers, advisors, developers, and individual investors. The company delivers a set of hosted APIs, modules, and tools that are leveraged by a list of providers seeking to create trading and investing experiences. Its APIs empower third-party developers to build applications such as algorithmic and robotic trading systems.

Tradier powers over one hundred retail active trading platforms, accounts from 150 plus countries and serving 60 plus noted educational partnerships.

In 2023, the company plans to expand its product offerings to include a market-first platform and content hub, portfolio margin, an extended API offering, global debit funding, futures and crypto.
