Redefine.dev, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based provider of an AI-powered CI optimization platform to accelerate software development cycles and cut cloud expenses, emerged from stealth with $8.5m in seed funding.

The round was led by Gillot Capital, with participation from Nitzan Kapira and Ran Rabenzaft (founders of Epsagon), Efrat Rapoport (director of Salesforce Israel), Assaf Ezra (founder of Granolite), Simon Peryman (former VP of Development at Twitch), and Farhan Tawar (VP of Development at Shopify).

The company plans to use the funds for personnel recruitment and acceleration of development.

Founded in 2022 by CEO Lior Neuman (former R&D officer in 8200) and CTO Ayal Regev (former cyber course commander and researcher at Unit 81), Redefine provides an AI-based solution that optimizes CI/CD processes and shortens CI time, all with just one click and no need for code changes or human involvement. The technology uses static code analysis and AI to identify relevant tests for each new code change and minimize feedback time for developers and breaking changes by over 90%.

The company, which operates on a SAAS model and boasts partnerships with Intel, Claroty, Salesforce, PAGAYA, and more, has a team of 25 employees in Tel Aviv.
