Orbit Fab Completes $28.5M in Funding

Orbit Fab

Orbit Fab, a Lafayette, CO-based provider of on-orbit refueling services, raised $28.5M in funding.

The round was led by 8090 Industries, with major investments by Stride Capital, Industrious Ventures, Lockheed Martin Ventures, Tribe Capital, Good Growth Capital, and Massive Capital Partners.

The company intends to use the funds to drive the integration of its RAFTI refueling ports aboard more satellites and servicing vehicles and to accelerate fuel sales and the deployment of fuel delivery and storage infrastructure in GEO, LEO, and VLEO orbits.

Led by CEO Daniel Faber, Orbit Fab is a provider of on-orbit refueling services and propellants that make extended in-space missions and the space economy possible. The company, with offices in the UK, has developed the Rapidly Attachable Fluid Transfer Interface (RAFTI) fueling port, which is being integrated aboard a growing number of government and commercial spacecraft to enable extended missions in GEO and LEO orbits. It has signed the first government and commercial fuel delivery contracts in GEO.
