Maltego, a Munich, Germany-based provider of an intelligence platform for data integration and graphical link analysis of investigations, raised $100M in growth funding.
Charlesbank Technology Opportunities Funds, managed by Charlesbank Capital Partners, made the investment.
Led by CEO Philip Mayrhofer, Maltego empowers investigators to increase the precision of their investigations through data integration in a single interface, aided by visualization and collaborative capabilities to zero in on relevant information. The company is used by a broad audience, from security professionals and pen testers to forensic investigators, investigative journalists, and market researchers.
Maltego has over 100 employees in Germany and works with customers including the including the Federal Bureau of Investigations, INTERPOL, and tech and service companies including half of the DOW 30.
