Verity Raises $32M in Series B Funding

Verity, a Zurich, Switzerland-based provider of a commercially inventory tracking solution powered by autonomous indoor drones, raised $32M in Series B funding.

The round was led by A.P. Moller Holding with participation from Exor Ventures and existing and new investors.

The company intends to use the funds to scale up operations.

Founded in 2014 and led by CEO, Raffaello D’Andrea, Verity delivers autonomous indoor drone systems used in warehouses to gather valuable insights that enable operational efficiencies. It allows users to fully automate the manual scanning process, using self-flying warehouse drones that require no operator and can fly in the dark. The company’s inventory tracking system aims to cut labor and equipment costs, eliminate errors and disruptions, improve customer service, and reduces waste and CO2 emissions. It is already installed in 30 sites across 13 countries on 3 continents.
