trawa, a Berlin, Germany-based provider of an AI powered platform to provide renewable and affordable electricity for businesses, raised €2.4M in Pre-Seed funding.
The round was led by Speedinvest and Magnetic, with participation from TinyVC and The Delta as well as several very experienced business angels including Anna Alex, co-founder of Planetly and Outfittery, Julian Teicke, co-founder and CEO of wefox, Tobias Schütt, founder and former CEO of DZ4, Kai Klapdor (ENIT) and Alexandre Berriche, Founder and CEO of Fleet, etc.
The company intends to use the funds to build the team and further develop its AI-based software.
Founded in 2022 by David Budde, Max Lüddemann and Robert Quick, trawa provides a platform for companies to procure sustainable renewable electricity via a platform that analyzes customer consumption behavior and combines it with the right electricity products.
The company is currently applying for a license as an energy supplier.
