RangeForce Raises $20 Million in Financing

RangeForce, a Norfolk, VA-based provider of cloud-based cyber defense upskilling solutions, raised $20M in funding.

The round was led by Energy Impact Partners and Paladin Capital Group with participation from KPN Ventures, Lapa Capital Partners, Lanx Capital and Cisco Investments. 

The company intends to use the funds to expand its product line.

Co-founded in 2015 by Taavi Must, Jaanus Kink, and Margus Ernits, RangeForce provides cyber defense upskilling solutions which include real-world interactive exercises that simulate live attacks to protect teams against current and emerging cyber threats. The company’s offerings help cybersecurity professionals and operations teams continuously upskill employees, keeping their critical defense skills relevant against current threats while using their existing software tools.

RangeForce has experienced rapid growth with Fortune Global 2000 companies in a variety of industries, including finance, technology, and healthcare, and counts companies like Equifax, Barclays, and federal government entities among its customers.
