Orb, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a pricing platform that gives businesses the infrastructure to automate billing, experiment with pricing, and optimize revenue capture, raised $19.1M in funding.

Orb closed $14M in Series A funding. The round was led by Menlo Ventures, following a seed round in 2021 of $5.1M led by Greylock, bringing the total raised to $19.1M. They are joined by base case capital, The Cannon Project, Data Community Fund, Essence VC, FOG Ventures, Scribble Ventures, South Park Commons, and SV Angel, as well as founders and executives from companies such as Asana, Datadog, HubSpot, Braze, Notion, Plaid, Replit, and Vercel.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth, expand operations and its business reach.

Led by CEO Alvaro Morales, Orb is a provider of a pricing platform purpose-built for flexible pricing models. The company spans the end-to-end revenue workflow, from metering capabilities, to flexible pricing and packaging iteration, to streamlined invoicing, to reporting and revenue recognition. B2B technology companies use it to automate billing and enable pricing experimentation.

Orb powers billing for high-growth B2B technology companies including Airbyte, Dune, and Materialize.
