Nimble, a San Francisco, CA-based autonomous logistics and AI robotics company, raised $65M in Series B funding.
The round, which brought the total amount to $115M, was led by Cedar Pine, with participation from existing investors DNS Capital, GSR Ventures, and Breyer Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to further build a nationwide network of next-generation autonomous 3PL fulfillment centers.
Led by Founder and CEO Simon Kalouche, Nimble has been trained on millions of real-world objects and have learned material properties like size, shape, weight, texture, and fragility. The robots use this AI to determine which one of its swappable grippers will work best for a given product and how to use those grippers to effectively grasp, handle and pack products. Its fleet of AI-powered robots intelligently pick, pack, and handle millions of products, from apparel and electronics to health and beauty, general merchandise and consumer packaged goods (CPG) for iconic brands like Best Buy, Victoria’s Secret, PUMA, iHerb, Adore Me and others.
