Lun Energy, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based startup that aims to decarbonize homes, raised $11.2m in seed funding.
Backers included Norrsken VC, Partech, Lowercarbon Capital, MCJ Collective, and previous investor Foundamental.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.
Led by CEO Martin Collignon, and COO Anders Valentin, Lun is building a software solution that allow tradespeople to sell, plan and install heat pumps with fewer truck rolls.
According to reports, the company’s system, which aims to make it seamless for consumers, installers and vendors to scale up their heat pump efforts, is currently in an alpha release with testers in Denmark.
