IPRally Technologies, a Helsinki, Finland-based patent AI company, raised €10M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Join Capital, Spintop Ventures and Icebreaker.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate business expansion and to develop the product towards a complete one-stop shop for AI-driven patent research and competitive intelligence.
Founded in 2018, and led by CEO Sakari Arvela, IPRally Technologies provides explainable AI for patent research and intelligence via a web platform, enabling intellectual property and R&D professionals to be more productive and improve their decision making processes. The system enables Intellectual Property and R&D professionals to find, analyze and classify patent information efficiently through using proprietary AI. IPRally’s proprietary Graph Neural Network technology allows for both technical and semantic understanding of the global patent data, making the searches less dependent on exact keywords and technical expertise.
The platform is utilized by technology corporations, patent law firms, academic institutions and public patent offices.
