Foro, a Charlotte, NC-based provider of a commercial lending platform, raised $4M in Series A extension funding.
Backers included TTV Capital, Fin Capital, Correlation Ventures, and AME Cloud Ventures, and new investors Gaingels and B3 Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to scale its reach.
Led by CEO Dave Godsman, Foro provides a platform that simplifies and streamlines the commercial lending process for growing businesses seeking $1M-$20M. It uses a proprietary algorithm, which enables businesses seeking capital to have the choice, clarity, and confidence needed to choose the right lender and accelerate growth. At the same time, lenders are able to complement their services by identifying businesses actively seeking growth capital that fit their lending criteria.
