Powervault, a London, UK-based electricity storage company, raised £3.8M in funding.
The round was led by Green Angel Syndicate and its Climate Change Fund.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth, expand operations and its business reach.
Powervault designs and manufactures intelligent battery storage systems for homes and businesses. Its products store customers’ surplus solar and wind electricity generated on site for them to use later that day, alongside arbitraging Time of Use electricity tariffs, thus enabling homeowners and businesses to take control of their electricity usage and reduce both their electricity costs and their CO2 emissions.
