OpenEyes Raises $18M in Series A Funding

OpenEyes, a New York-based insurtech company serving commercial automotive fleets, raised $18M in Series A funding.

The round was led by Insight Partners and Pitango First, with participation from MoreVC.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the development of its technology and to hire additional team members to support its increasing US operations.

Co-founded by Yoav Oron (CEO), Dr. Omry Sendik (CTO) and Dan Charash (Chairman), OpenEyes offers commercial automotive insurance to fleets of all kinds. Using its technology, fleet managers and safety officers can identify the sources of risk in their fleet, to implement practices that reduce the frequency of accidents. In addition, the company enables precise underwriting and streamlines claims handling and prevention.

OpenEyes is already being used by fleets driving millions of miles nationwide.

To date, the company has raised a total of $23M.
