CyberSmart, a London, UK-based cyber security platform provider, raised £12.8M in Series B funding.
The round was led by Oxx, with participation from British Patient Capital, Legal & General Capital, and Solano Partners, as well as previous backers IQ Capital, Eos Venture Partners, Winton Ventures, and Seedcamp. In conjunction with the funding, Phil Edmondson-Jones, Oxx partner, is joining CyberSmart‘s board of directors.
The company intends to use the funds for product development, channel partnerships extension and domestic and international growth.
Led by Jamie Akhtar, CEO, CyberSmart provides a platform that enables 24/7 protection of people, devices, and data from cyber threats, with no need for expensive tools, consultants or an in-house team.
The system is currently used by more than 4,000 small businesses.
