Hack The Box Raises $55M in Series B Funding

Hack The Box, a Folkestone, Kent, UK-based provider of a gamified continuous cybersecurity platform, raised $55M in Series B funding.

The round was led by Carlyle, Paladin Capital Group, Osage University Partners, Marathon Venture Capital, Brighteye Ventures, and Endeavor Catalyst Fund.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to invest in R&D, enhance its go-to-market function, and double down on ongoing international expansion with commercial traction in the US, Europe, and APAC.

Led by Haris Pylarinos, Founder and CEO, Hack The Box is an online gamified cybersecurity upskilling and talent assessment platform that allows individuals, businesses, government organizations, and universities to level up their offensive and defensive security skills. Since launching in 2017, the company has brought together a global community of more than 1.7 million platform members, and has built a portfolio of more than 1,500 enterprises, government, and university customers that utilize its gamified learning environment to take their cybersecurity skills to the next level.

Hack The Box also has additional offices in Greece and the US.
