Avrios, a Zurich, Switzerland-based provider of a cloud fleet management platform, received a growth investment from Battery Ventures.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth and expand operations.
Led by CEO Francine Gervazio, Avrios provides a cloud-based, fleet management platform with functions that includes automated data collection, automatic compliance controlling, an environmental dashboard, real-time reporting, the electronic driver’s license control and corporate car-sharing software. The company counts more than 1,000 customers—with around 120,000 vehicles and 140,000 drivers—including DB Schenker, Bayerisches Rotes Kreuz, Kyocera, Flaschenpost, and Tee Geschwendner.
