Reach

Reach, a Redwood City, CA-based wireless power-at-a-distance company, raised $30M in Series B funding.

The round was led by DCVC with participation from Y Combinator, Transform VC, and Collaborative Fund.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to work toward eliminating charging downtime for autonomous vehicles and drones, enabling the deployment of temporary microgrids for emergency response and military field operations, and powering billions of IoT devices across the world.

Led by CEO Chris Davlantes, Chief Product Officer Matt Glenn, and Chief Commercial Officer Jeff White Reach is a high-performance wireless power-at-a-distance company. Its wireless power changes electric power delivery in the same way that Wi-Fi changed data delivery. The system is built on technology, including power beaming circuits, network optimization algorithms, and adaptive electromagnetic surfaces. Ideally suited for manufacturing, government, energy, logistics, and retail, the solution provides flexible access to power where and when needed, streamlining device deployment and improving device performance.
