Api.video, a Bordeaux, France-based video infrastructure startup, raised $12m in Series A funding.
The round was led by MMC Ventures, with participation from Open Ocean, Blossom Capital, and Financiere Saint James.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach.
Led by Cédric Montet, Api.video enables constumers to securely deliver videos directly from their website, software, or app. By providing a transparent API, the company aims to simplify complex video processes and give developers the basis for creating custom video experiences through a web service.
The company has already empowered +30,000 developers and +500 products.
