Wesper Raises $9.6M in Series A Funding

Wesper, a New York-based clinical-grade FDA-cleared wireless home sleep lab company, raised $9.6M in Series A funding.

Backers included Valor Equity Partners, Breyer Capital, and Spark Capital.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth and revenue as well as continue to develop diagnostic sensing technology.

Led by CEO Amir Reuveny, Wesper is a doctor-supervised sleep health program that offers a clinical-grade system designed to get users the care they need. It enables people to meet with sleep experts and board-certified physicians to review their comprehensive sleep data and get a tailor-made treatment plan, all from the comfort of their own bed. The company measures longitudinally sleep position, snoring, oxygen desaturation, apnea events, breathing quality, and pulse rate.

Wesper aims to expand its presence in the sleep clinic space, including extending its medical advisor network and forging strategic partnerships with key players such as hospitals, sleep labs, and insurance providers.
