Supernova, a Prague, Czech Republic provider of a SaaS design system platform, raised $4.8M in Seed funding.
The round was led by Wing Venture Capital, with participation from EQT Ventures, Kaya VC, Expedite Ventures, and Sara Varni.
The company intends to use the funds to extend the current product offering for large enterprises and their customized internal needs, while also facilitating the expansion of the team to the U.S.
Led by CEO Jiri Trecak, Supernova manages the entire design system lifecycle in one place without making teams change their tools or maintain self-built workflows and integrations, cutting down on time and resources needed to build any product. With Supernova, teams can manage all design and development data in one place, document every step of their work, distribute it amongst the teams in efficient ways and automate work that was previously done manually.
The company’s product provides a single destination for managing, documenting, delivering, and governing product design, enabling design teams and developer teams to connect design data across the product development lifecycle and speed up the delivery of design systems that are complex to build and maintain.
