Enode, an Oslo, Norway-based software developer of API solutions, raised $2.2 million in Seed funding.
Backers included Lowercarbon Capital, BoxGroup, Liquid2, Skyfall Ventures, Jason Jacobs, Scott Belsky, Gustaf Ahlstromer, and Helge Lund.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth, expand operations and its business reach.
Founded by Henrik Langeland (CEO), Thorvald Thorsnes, and Nikolai Heum, Enode enables developers to connect to almost any energy product, including EVs, heat pumps and solar panels via API. The company provides the digital infrastructure for green energy apps through an API platform. The platform enables developers to connect to energy products such as EVs, heat pumps and solar panels. Customers include some of the world’s largest electricity providers, such as E.ON and fast-growing climate tech startups, such as Monta and Greenely.
