Deal Engine, a Miami, FL-based provider of a platform to automates airline ticket refunds and changes, raised $5.3M in Seed funding.
The round was led by F-Prime Capital with participation from Thayer Ventures, PAR Capital Management, and Plug and Play.
The company intends to use the funds to expand globally and accelerate engineering, product, and sales.
Led by CEO Alex Jara, Deal Engine provides an AI-enabled platform that automates airline ticket refunds and changes. Integrations with Global Distribution System (GDS) and settlement systems such as Saber, Amadeus, Travelport, BSPLink and ARC allow the company to automatically execute refunds and changes every day, saving time and money. Utilizing proprietary AI and APIs, its algorithms bring automation to travel companies in over 30 countries.
