Merge, a San Francisco, CA and NYC-based provider of a Unified API for B2B integrations, raised $55M in Series B funding.

The round, which brings total funding to $75m, was led by Accel, with participation from NEA and Addition.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand the team from 60 today to over 100 next year, investing in both R&D and GTM teams.

Led by Shensi Ding, Merge provides the tools to enable B2B companies to realize customer-facing integrations. With its Unified API, developers integrate just once and give their customers access to over 150 HR Information Systems (HRIS), Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Accounting, Ticketing, and CRM integrations.

Over 3,000 companies use it to add integrations to their SaaS apps. Merge powers integrations for customers such as TripActions, Ramp, Drata, AngelList, Ripplematch, and Apollo. These customers use Merge for a wide variety of integration use cases, from pulling HR data to onboard customer accounts, to programmatically creating new hiring candidate workflows, to posting accounting transactions, and updating tickets that track a project’s progress.
