ForeVR Games Raises $10M in Series A Funding

ForeVR Games, a Los Angeles, CA-based leader in casual virtual reality (VR) gaming, raised $10m in Series A funding.

The round, which brought total funding to date to $18.5m, was led by Lobby Capital with participation from existing investors including Bessemer Venture Partners and Galaxy Interactive. Since launching in July 2020, the company received angel investments from Mark Pincus, founder of Zynga, and Emmett Shear and Justin Kan, founders of Twitch. 

The company intends to use the funds to expand its portfolio of connected family-friendly titles and solidify its role as the ‘Wii Sports of VR’. In its first two years, the company has produced ForeVR Bowl and ForeVR Darts, two of the top sports titles on Meta (formerly Oculus) Quest. ForeVR also just launched ForeVR Cornhole in September 2022 and plans to release ForeVR Pool before the end of the year.

Since summer 2021, the company has increased its talent acquisition with a fully remote team now of 44.
