Factorial Raises $120M in Series C Funding

Factorial, a Barcelona, Spain-based provider of an HR software, raised $120M in Series C funding.

The round, which values the company at over 1$billion, was led by Atomico, with participation from Tiger Global, CRV, K-Fund, and Creandum. In conjunction with the funding, Luca Eisenstecken, joined Factorial’s board.

The company intends to use the funds to to expand and improve its functionalities and strengthen itself in the existing markets in Spain, the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany, Italy, Portugal, France, Mexico and Brazil, open a new office in Miami, and expand into new markets worldwide.

Founded in 2016 by Jordi Romero (CEO), Bernat Farrero (CRO) and Pau Ramon (CTO), Factorial provides HR solutions for SMEs around the world. Its tools automate and centralize administrative tasks to provide insights and help organizations run smoothly. The company, which now offer solutions for HR analytics, document management, performance appraisals, goal-tracking, company culture, now serves more than 7,000 growing businesses in 65+ countries.

Factorial has 800 employees in offices in Brazil, Mexico and Spain.
